This report is a testament to Torajamelo’s journey in weaving economic independence and cultural preservation through every thread woven by the skilled hands of women across the Indonesian archipelago, including our expansion into Nusa Tenggara.
Through a comprehensive community outreach program in Nusa Tenggara, which is fully supported by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, we have strengthened the empowerment of local weavers and expanded their access to the market. By prioritizing transparency and social impact, we document how the collaboration between ancestral traditions, modern innovation, and international support creates a sustainable and ethical fashion ecosystem. More than just numbers, this report is a story of resilience, community warmth, and our collective commitment to ensuring that the heritage of weaving remains a dignified source of life for generations to come.
